i made an appointment over the phone 2 days out, the secretary took down all information and i gave her the name of insurance along with member ID. I arrived at 1:10pm for my 130pm appointment as instructed to fill out forms etc. I was then informed to remove my contacts, at 145pm the receptionist told me they didn't take my insurance and it would 150.00 for a contact exam. I asked what was the difference since i have always worn contacts and the last 3 eye docs never charged for this, she didn't know just kept repeating it would be charges fedbluecross wouldn't cover. I looked at the time and just said wow its 45 past my appointment time and im not paying for something just because you want to charge extra. I don't understand if you had my insurance info on 2 days before the appointment why this was not explained. This was a waste of time and my day off please beware
