We went to the public pool and was really impressed! $2 entry per person. The water was clean and it was not crowded. Two, kid size slides. There are bathrooms and changing areas. Picnic tables right outside near a small concession stand. One shaded pavilion, but not a lot of places to sit. Really, the only downside. I was also really impressed with the lifeguards. They were kind and caring to each of the kids the spoke to and very attentive to everyone in the water.

The park has a few huge fields, an old skatepark with character, the town pool, a tennis court, and a decent playground right behind the fire department and police station. I have been going here my entire childhood so I would say it is absolutely fine.

Awesome playground, fences in with large equipment for older kids and small equipment for younger.  There are also sports fields and a skateboard park.
