Went here to hang out with some family members on Memorial day evening, it was quiet and there was open bowl. You don't have to pay up front, but do need to leave an ID or keys for the shoes (which makes me nervous). It was 30 bucks for 2 games for 5 people which is VERY affordable. All the bowling balls had excessively large finger holes (even the kid ones), which made it hard to throw the balls regularly if you have small fingers. They were also oddly greasy. Regardless, the lanes were clean and well kept, staff was friendly, and the place is nice inside. Warning: there are a lot of stairs from the exterior, upper entrance!

Bad customer service, employees giving attitude and being sarcastic in a rude way. This place has been the worst customer service I've ever seen and experienced. Other than that, bowling was fun with my family.

I went bowling here on 4/30/16 with a couple of my friends. I have bowled here and have had good experiences in the past so I have to say that this review is not without knowing the place first. When entering the bowling lanes we had someone blocking our entrance and so we decided to use the entrance next to it where a group of league bowlers were bowling. They were quite rude to us as we passed, asking us where we "thought" we were going, and approached management to complain about us. Since we do not bowl often we did not know it was not respectful to enter at a different lane and so we apologized, however the staff reiterated to us to "never do it again" and that we were being "extremely rude." After we finished bowling and went to return our shoes, I asked for my drivers license back, as they take it as collateral when you go to bowl. They spent 10 minutes searching for it until the manager approached a man who was bowling and had to ask to see his I.D. They had given MY I.D. to a complete stranger, without bothering to double check if it was supposed to go to him. I would never recommend a place that treats their customers poorly, and also severely misuses their policies while taking forms of I.D. If you like cheap bowling near Minneapolis, hit up the U of M, not this place if you want to keep your identity and your satisfaction.
