Although they were not in my network so I was unable to become a patient there I still received great service. They helped me find someone in my network so I would be covered. She took the time to help me and I will not forget this. I will be looking more closely to which offices are in my network in the future as this would be a great place to go. scheduled an appointment several weeks ago since my family recently relocated to St. Cloud.  The scheduler was given my insurance information, including the telephone number, ID number, group number, etc....I was  assured that they took my insurance (BCBS Concordia) and set up an appointment for my daughters. The day of their appointments, they tell me they do not take my insurance and that they are sorry......a professional organization would have either known and/or confirmed the appointments with my insurance company if they were unsure....obviously, they have had plenty of time to check.  I was very upset at the receptionists attitude and her disposition towards me...the situation was handled unprofessionally and inappropriately.

A great experience!  Last time I saw them was over 6 months; I was told at that time to be sure to floss my back molar.  I had a hard time with that and this time when I went in I definitely had a cavity.  I had not had one in over 35 years so I was surprised.  However, the back molar which I had not flossed much became a "pocket" cavity--what's that- a cavity formed by where my crown meets my tooth.  I have an app't. in about 1 wk to get it taken care of.  Yes, that will relieve the discomfort I have back there.  Who knew that at 59 y.o. a person could still get cavities?

My previous review: The dental office is inviting from the moment you walk in.  There are some refreshments while you wait (which I have never had to wait that long) and the staff are friendly and courteous.  All of the dental staff are professional, polite, and really listen to your needs.  I love this place and am so glad that I found it!  Customer for life!

My current review:  The dental office is still inviting, however there were no refreshments this time.  The staff at reception were friendly and the hygienist was pleasant and very accommodating to my needs.

My issue with this place now (which made the change for me from 5 stars to 3) is that I have been coming here for over 2 years, every 6 months (probably closer to 3 years) and there has been a new dentist EVERY SINGLE TIME.  This is very frustrating.  The new dentist spent minimal time with me as well, where as the previous one actually talked about things with me.  I also am irritated because I schedule with a specific hygienist but am never actually put with that hygienist.  When I schedule the appointment they even confirm "yes you are with so-and-so" yet when I arrive it's always somebody else.

Additionally, they don't operate on Fridays.  Not sure that is best practice for patient care but if you can schedule M-Th then that shouldn't be an issue.

I originally said "customer for life" but unfortunately with all the changes I am in the process of finding a new dentist.  I prefer a practice where a dentist stays longer than 6 months and a practice that follows through on requests.

I spoke to administration and set up an appointment since I have been having a bad toothache for months and Midwest Dental assured me that they took my insurance (MN Health Partners) and set up an appointment. I set up this appointment months in advance. I received a call from Midwest Dental the day of my appointment to 'confirm' my insurance. They had me in the system with some type of Iowa insurance which is not accurate. The day of my appointment they tell me they do not take my insurance and that they are 'sorry.' They should have confirmed my appointment and all of that plenty of time prior to my appointment. Thanks for not doing your job Midwest Dental and restricting me from getting my tooth fixed for months since I relied on your services.
