I called looking for a quote on a pool.  I spoke to the original owner he told me he no longer has the company and told me it is in the hands of Al Stern.  He really talk up this Al person I figure he would do a good job ?  WOW!!  The most rudest person you can speak to.  He was talking to me like I was bothering him.  Asked me a question and gave me this crazy price site un seen?  I asked if he wanted to come see the area and go over what we wanted.  He yells at me that he is not gonna come to my home and that the starting price will be $40.000?  I hung up on the guy figure if he is this way its not gonna get better.  I honestly was not going to post a review till today.  The owner of the company called me to see how things went and I told him.  Instead of trying to be nice he defended Al because of his medical issues.  When I told him I really don't care what issues he has that is no way to speak to a client.  This man started to tell me that God is watching and Judging me because I did not want to do business with this guy and that God is looking down on me ?  I told him God was watching me because he gave me the sense to hang up on him.  Buyer beware these people are nuts!!

I purchased a Viking Fiberglass Pool from Al Stern at Mid West Fiberglass pools. From start to finish my new pool was slapped together and no one cared about the installation. The pool was cracked two times and no one would except reasonability for the workmanship. At the end of the day I received about eighty percent if our investment back from the insurance company.
