Mikado's is usually very good. Like any restaurants I'm sure they can have an off night but tonight they were their normal "very good"!  We had reservations and they seated us right away. We were also greeted with a nice "Happy Mother's Day" as well. Our waitress got our drink orders quickly and got our order quickly as well.  Our selections were: Fuji Yama roll, Hibachi Chicken with fried rice, Hibachi Combo Chicken and Steak as well as Beef Yaki Noodle Soba. All entrees came with the regular ginger salad and we also ordered one avocado salad  All meals came out fairly quickly but not too quickly that we couldn't enjoy our salads and cooked correctly. The salads were also very good. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had zero complaints.  If you are looking for the type of restaurant that cooks in front of you with "flair" as a group, this is not your place. Personally I enjoy just sitting with my group and am happy to skip that "flair".  The receipt does calculate tip incorrectly they calculate on tax so be aware of that if you need them to do your math.  Overall a very nice place to eat.  Parking: Not a lot of spaces up front but it is in a shopping center so plenty of spaces to park, you just might have to walk a short distance.  Kid-friendliness: They offer you forks for those who do not want to use chop sticks.

I am absolutely loving this new find. The service has been amazing and the food delicious. I love the bento box with all the things it comes with. I went with my 7 year old and the waitress was so nice to suggest cutting the sushi pieces smaller for him. We all look forward to this place.

We had the fried calamari roll back left, the godzilla roll front, and the magic roll back right. They were delicious. We also had a chicken hibachi that was excellent. Our server was fantastic and the woman who sat us at our table was the best.Food: 4/5

Service is wonderful but their roll descriptions could be better. This is not "flowing" in sauce, isn't spicy and is so tiny, 6 pieces, full of rice though and a different type of wrap. For $16, I should have stuck to their lunch special.Food: 2/5

First time I've been to this restaurant.  Service was excellent! You can see the servers running bck & forth cause they're super busy! Food was good similar to Kobe, chicken was cooked perfectly.  Ramen was delicious I wished they put more pork in it cause its expensive! I bought a to-go lunch hibachi.  Its not much but jts cheap! I'm not sure if their dinner portion is bigger! Not bad for a quick

Food: 10/10: always hot   and fresh! Huge variety to choose from! Service: 10/10: always exceptional service. We go monthly and always exceptional! Atmosphere: 8/10: Lots of space and can see them make sushi  rolls. Slight downside was the place is a bit dated and seating is uncomfortable!  Still highly recommend going and experience their delicious foods and service!

The decor in this place was definitely a 4 out of 5 for me. I loved all the Japanese touches they had everywhere. The only knock I have would be the lighting. It was very yellowish.  The service was a 3 out of 5. I don't know if the server was new but he kept us waiting before he would come take our order. I also asked what he would recommend and he didn't suggest anything he liked or his customers liked. I wish I had gotten his name so the restaurant could give the feedback. He was very nice and so I'm not saying he was bad just needs improvement in a couple of areas of service.  We order several dishes to try out and for the most part they were good. Some of the dishes lacked the flavor bombs I was hoping for. The shrimp fried rice had a good flavor but it was missing some salt and garlic flavors. The rolls we had were very tasty which I loved. A couple other dishes helped round out a very decent meal. I would have to give the food a 3 out of 5.  I would definitely come back and recommend others to give it a try.

This place is so good!! The food is amazing! They have a good happy hour with a good variety! My husband and parents loved the sushi! The bathroom wasn’t in the best condition as the sink was leaking but that’s not too bad. The customer service was great!

Party of 5 came here at 6:00 on a Friday. Place was busy as expected but we were seated quickly. We ordered calamari and pan fried gyoza for appetizers. Both were good. Entree orders included chicken tempura, chicken and steak hibachi, shrimp hibachi and sushi. Food came out quick and the portions were good. The chicken tempura did not have much flavor but that is a personal opinion. I did not like the 18% auto gratuity so beware of that as they do not mention it until you get your bill. They no longe have AYCE sushi at this location.

The most fresh, tasty and appealing sushi... EVER!!  Believe me when I say, I've tried all the rolls here. A special thanks to Jenny Lee she always greets you with a smile, our order is always right and she simply makes you feel like home. We usually order take-out, but when we dine-in, the flavor and the experience is enhanced. We're so lucky to live near Mikado
