The owner has a great working knowledge of cichlids and helped me figure out exactly what I should do with my tank setup.  I got amazing fish that I've never seen at run-of-The-mill pet stores at great prices.  I didn't have time to check out more than a fraction of their setup today, but he has fish (both cichlids and non-cichlids) to meet any almost any need as far as I can see.  There are multiple buildings packed with various tanks full of fish.  I came from Jacksonville and it was well worth the trip.

I came back to edit this because I think something deserves mentioning.  I spoke with the owner a couple of days in advance of coming  down to Daytona and he asked me to try to get there before 1 PM because he didn't want to go out in the afternoon storms.  Naturally I ran late and got there at 2 PM right after the sky opened up and it began pouring.  Mike never said a word about it as we trudged through puddles from building to building out back.

This place is amazing! First class service from Mike and Jennefer.
The fish prices are the best and the 
Quality great. I wish if there was a ten star rating I will give them a 15.

We made our first trip out to Mike's Cichlids today and we were extremely impressed!  (Not easy to do).  They have the biggest selection of cichlids I have ever seen.  Their fish have the boldest, most beautiful coloring and they are just stunning.  We have found our new "go-to" fish store and are exceptionally pleased and Mike and Jennifer (the owners) are knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do - they have  earned 2 new customers for years to come.
