Don't use the Services of Hector's Tax Service. This place has Several independent tax preparers sharing the same office and I don't have an opinion about the others because I haven't used them. But I have used Hector for 2 years and both years he made mistakes on my tax return that got me in trouble with the IRS and the CA Franchise Board. The first time I used him, he incorrectly used a student deduction for which I was not eligible. I caught the mistake and he fixed it before I sent my return to the IRS, the second time, he forgot to fill in the social security numbers of my dependents and I got audited!! how can you forget something as important as that Hector? I had to spend two hours on the phone fixing that problem. Also, my roommate used his services and his tax return was sent back because it lacked the signature. Hector is a good and friendly guy but the man doesn't know what he is doing. It may be that he also sells insurance. Maybe he should specialize in one or the other. Take my advice, go elsewhere if you want your taxes done correctly.
