The school definitely needs work. The trash around the school is appalling. They lost several teachers this year due to student enrollment decreasing. All the smart parents are sending their children elsewhere. There needs to be a better way to account for the teachers. My child has had so many substitutes it is concerning. There have been issues with her teacher that I have tried to address that just get blown off. The secretaries in the front office are so rude and uncaring. My child broke her arm in the 1st grade and they would not let her call home. I had to find out at the end of the day when picking her up. She is now in the 3rd grade and only at this school because she begged to stay with her friends. However, this year her teacher is a nightmare. She makes her feel so unwelcome and singled out; she cries and begs to not go to school. She is 8 years old and has started faking sick. She will not be attending Millcreek next year. The school has fallen into chaos under Ms. Kane's care.

If you value your children, don't let them go to this school. When I went to this school a few years ago, the conditions were awful. The hallway floors were dark from all the dirt and grime (they were supposed to be white), and on Fridays, they made us eat on the floor since their staff were too lazy to lower their tables and clean them afterwards. That's only the health hazard side of the problem. The way this school deals with bullying is RIDICULOUS. When I was very young, whenever I was bullied, I would take the blame and get suspended, not the actual bully. This school preaches "Don't stand by, be an Ally", yet when I stood up for a girl being bullied, I got the blame for it once again and was suspended. The only thing that saved my experience there was the teachers (not all, but most), they were very nice and did their jobs ok. Don't take my word for the teachers though, since most if not all either left to a better school or died. Not to mention, this school is also extremely cheap, hosting fund raisers about 3-5 times a year and hardly using the money on school activities. Also keep in mind that I haven't visited this school in ages, from what I've heard the conditions have gotten WORSE. Even the McDonald's across the street would be a better school for your children.

This Used to be a good school. Without a Real principle, most of the good teachers left, & my daughter's class was in chaos most of the school year. Substitute after substitute came & went. The kids weren't being taught their curriculum. No homework. I'm worried about how my daughter will keep up, this year, in Jr. High. Mrs. Cane did Nothing about making sure the kids stayed on track. She could've cared less about Anything that went on there. She was less useful than a pile of bricks. She even Lied to the whole class, about why their 1st teacher left! She told them their teacher was So Sick she Couldn't come back to work! They thought she must be Dying! They Cried & sent her get well cards. She merely abandoned them for another teaching job at a charter or private school. Despicable, on both their parts! Mrs. Banks, the former principle, Never would've let things go down like that. She took care of those kids!

I was a student there, and the school needs an exorcism. I saw numerous things in the older girls bathrooms. Even sixth graders we screaming. People still do this today. It is basically a form of bullying.
