Great studios with lots of light, high ceilings, wooden floors and bountiful wall space to hang artwork. Easy parking with fenced in on site lot. Owner totally supportive of annual Artists Open House. All utilities are included. Wonderful community it's of artists. I've rented at The Mill for the past ten years and am very happy there, as are my fellow artists.

I have been a tenet for about 5 months now - and I absolutely love it! I almost didn't call or look at my space because of the negative review (see above) but I ended up finding / reaching out to an artist who was at the Mill over facebook to ask her about the negative review and reassured me that it was wonderful here and she loved it and never had any trouble. Yes, it is an artist space, so there is paint in the sink, and the space is all really raw. But thats what I love about it. My studio meeting room has hardwood floors, big windows and super high ceilings with lots of wood / industrial pipes etc. The property managers are really nice. They have gone out of their way to help me multiple times - from installing an air conditioner, to making sure the heat is working, to helping me coordinate package pick ups with the post office. I am in the Mill II across the street from Mill I and I love it because it is a little smaller and more intimate - and I am more on the entrepreneur side of things than the artist side of things. There are tenets here who have been here for years and years - super strong sense of community and I haven't met one person that wasn't friendly so far. The rents are all inclusive of heat / electricity which is nice because you don't have that to worry about. And, the rents are super reasonable as well. I'm really glad I decided to rent and decided that after I was here a few months I'd post a review, especially if my experience was positive (which it has been) so that others could find this place and not be scared away by the negative review. From what I can tell that hasn't effected this place too much though because the studios up for rent get filled really quickly. If anyone has a question - happy to answer! Thanks Mill II for being exactly what I was looking for.

As a tenant of almost seven years, every month I had the highest hopes that Gresson Properties would clean up their act...unfortunately, that wish was never fulfilled. I have a thriving photography studio, and had to leave the Mill because prospective clients had to enter a dirty, rotting building with absolutely no curb appeal, that was filled with the stench of marijuana 24/7 - along with the mold. I had the great luxury of having to move my studios from the second floor to the third floor, which was even worse. It took me 18 months in order for them to put privacy dividers on two of my spaces (out of 5) that I had been leasing...of which only one was done before I had to vacate. Taking on mainline clients as a wedding and portrait photographer - I was able to dazzle my prospective clients once they walked into my viewing and shooting spaces which I had to put considerable amounts of money into fixing up to be even minimally impressive - but would end up not booking with us because "....[I/We] would not ever want to enter that building ever again..." "....[I] wouldn't wash my hands in that sink because they would be crawling with more bacteria than I began with..." -- all of these are excerpts from post-consultation surveys. I talked to the Owner AND property manager many, many many times about these issues, and all I got back from them is "We are an artist community, and artist don't give a crap about the floors being clean" ....yes, that verbatim. The building is infested with cockroaches...and they have an exterminator spray the hallways, but wouldn't pay to have each space sprayed as well, so all the cockroaches would scurry into the studios....along with the massive spiders and ants! I had almost the entire 3rd floor - except for three other tenants...and I was unable to even run an air conditioner in any space along with the lights without blowing a circuit because they had half the hallway running on the same circuit. Multiple times, the property manager entered my offices and studios to SHUT OFF my AC units because their "electric bill was $500" ...clearly stated in my rent that electricity was included in the costs. Although, I was promised my own meter - set up an account with the power company and everything...then had to leave last minute. Why call movers on Thursday, pack on Friday, and then Move on Saturday? Very strange for a business going on a decade? Well - apparently my prop room and one of my offices were on a "month-to-month" "verbal lease" and the landlord Scott Gresson, no longer wanted to do business with me because of my illnesses ... so he gave me ten days to move out of those spaces since I did not have a "contracted lease" to protect me as I did with my other spaces. Many other things go on with that property that I could write a novel about. Be aware of any dealings with Gresson Properties - they pulled a 360 degree on me and I'm sure I'm not the only.
