I have asked Dr. Sherry P. Tsai, DDS to remove an amalgam filling from one of my otherwise healthy molars and replace it with some non-mercury filing. She kept drilling past the amalgam filling, through my good tooth, until she hit my dental nerve, pulp. Then she announced that I have to give her more money, to do a root canal now since she drilled so deep, ups she said. So I paid her in cash (she charged $600 more than other dentists in the Bay Area BTW) and she did the root canal and crown. For over 5 years since I have been having recurrent infections under that tooth afterwards, 3-6 times a year, it got progressively worse and more frequent, so I went to 3 different dentists in the last 2 weeks and they all said the same thing after doing x-rays: "Who in the hell did your root canal!? It's done all wrong, they left the canals with many big voids, empty of filler (gutta percha or cement) and the canals are not cleaned with wide-enough of a margin" Of course you would have an infection! When the dentist cleaned the canals today, he said that they are full of tissue debree, and no filler of any kind, almost empty, as if there was nothing there to begin with, and there is an abscess (chronic) at the base of the tooth. He is going to try saving that tooth with calcium hydroxide, antibiotics, cleaning of root canals and re-filling them over a period of 2 weeks. I am in New York now, and the dentist could not believe that it was done in the United States. Way to do business Dr. Tsai, hurting me both financially, physically (chronic pain) and health-wise...

Great dentist! I always get excellent care from Lee. Staff is really friendly and good with reminders and appointments. Would highly recommend.

Had a great experience there. Very professional and courteous. Great balance between care and detail together with respect to my time schedule. Great anticipation and I didn't feel 'pushed' into anything. Very happy with my visit and will go back.
