Just tried it for the first time. It hit the spot. I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of classic tonkatsu ramen. Great service I will be back I forgot to mention they have a clever duo container so the noodles and toppings are kept separate from the broth, enhancing the take out experience.Food: 5/5
A bit more salty than most other ramen places I’ve tried. Owner or manager was on speaker phone during my visit and didn’t seem to care about the experience her guests were having listening to the noise. Service was good!Food: 2/5
Tight space to sit at the tables. Don't get the bao buns, they are flavorless and mostly doughy to eat. The Ramen and sushi aren't bad otherwise. The sushi isn't over stuffed with rice to stuff you and the Ramen is a good portion to eat. The volcano wasn't as hot as it seemed to be but was very good overall. Kimchi beef Ramen seemed full to the brim with things too eat. Parking: Unless you come after 6pm where it's free, you'll have to find a parking lot, parking deck, or street parking too pay for
The food was everything I wanted fresh and so full of flavor. Small restaurant but worth the wait.Food: 5/5
Great ramen. The Tan Tan was especially delicious. Large bowls. Very flavorful.Food: 5/5
Wanted to try this brand new ramen place. It is right across from Kungfu Tea. We entered and were the only customers to our surprise. Was asked to sit anywhere we wanted. The decor is interesting. They used a few shelves to separate the spaces and filled them with interesting items. There was only one person doing takeout, cashier and waiting so the service in the beginning was a little slow. We ordered the karauge chicken which is like a chicken nugget but with real chicken and was surprisingly juicy inside. Very good. We also had the wings with spicy sauce which were very good. Slightly sweet. We also had the duck bao bao, very good also. But be warned, it is very oily, oil was dripping down my arm with every bite. But very tasty. I had the split bowl ramen which had a spicy and non spicy side. Asked for their house made ramen. The spicy side tasted better with the ramen, but after the non spicy side was very good when drinking the soup. The house made ramen was a slightly thicker than the ones we were used to. But still very good. Also tried the ton ton, spicy flank and classic Tonkatsu. All very good. We were stuffed and couldn’t try the egg waffle dessert. Highly recommend this new ramen place as we did see a lot of people doing take out. Take out isn’t as good since ramen is made to consume right there than then. Will repeat to try other things. Lastly they have these pair of wings on the wall that you can take a picture with. Reminded us of a place we visited in China that had the same thing but grander. Pretty cool just the same.
That Manhattan Roll brought a tear to my eye today—incredible. Please never take that off the menu. It's served warm which really made it top notch for me. I was expecting a small amount of sushi, but the portion size was great!Food: 5/5
Ordered take out. The sweet potato tempura roll is delicious. Had the rice bowl with salmon and the rice was pretty bland. Also ordered the vegetarian noodle bowl which was simply ok: it had the same boring vegetables in every frozen vegetable bag. Costing the same as any other animal protein, I’d have appreciated an added value like mushrooms or eggplant, even tofu would do. I’d go back and try their ramen there.
I really wanted to love this place, but the bowl of Raman was a very small portion. I must say the soup was very tasty but the short ribs were very tough not chewable. I left there still hungry. A $20.bowl should be filling. I hope they fix the menu and give you more noodles.Food: 3/5
Nice calm atmosphere when not busy. Responsive staff, good variety of options. Store will often adapt dishes if they can to your needs. Would recommend both types of Gyoza. Vegetarian options: Has a vegetarian bowl and a bunch of vegetarian appetizers such as the tofu bao baos or the vegetarian gyoza.
