It has been a true pleasure working with Dan in the design of our kitchen and family room. He is not a salesman who is just pitching product. He is a true craftsman who understands his product, and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs. He is able to outfit cabinets with all sorts of “furniture“ needed to organize your kitchen. He actually customizes the products himself. I would be a fool to go anywhere else for my kitchen and family room cabinetry. I wholeheartedly recommend Millwork2000 and Dan Privitera.
Bought hickory cabinets from Dan, he was also to build several countertops. His first comment to my husband when he walked into our under construction house was" you have more than I do". He promised us countertops by Thanksgiving, we got them 2 days before Christmas, the cupboards are supposed to be soft close, some work some do not. The countertop was cut too short, overhang on one side does not match the other sides. One counter top there is a gap where it meets the wall. I rolled a pencil to the gap and lost the pencil. Doors are longer than others, doors are cracked and warped, this was pointed out to him and we asked for it to be fixed . He admitted that the countertop was wrong because he was concentrating on centering the sink. We said you won't get paid until it's fixed. He said it couldn't be fixed. And walked out. We felt compelled to pay him for one countertop that was right, and cupboards were paid for. Also promised free hardware which we never got. His final text said he would address all of our concerns. It's been over a month.we have a house we are converting into log cabin, we are disgusted in this kitchen. When he came to install countertop, he didn't even bring his screws to fadten it down. I am not even exasterating on any of this. We want our kitchen right. Oh, he even admitted that the cupboards were cheap, not to our pockets they weren't.
Received much need design help custom fitting our bathroom. Love the cabinets, .hickory....with a whiskey black glaze.
