The Millworks features a brewery, a rooftop biergarten, a local & sustainable restaurant, an outdoor courtyard, and 3 art galleries with 18 artist studios.
ABOUT THE MILLWORKS
Using reclaimed lumber salvaged from the building, which was formerly the Stokes Millworks, the design preserves the historic timber and brick feel. With the Susquehanna Arts Museum, the Broad Street Market, and the Midtown Scholar Bookstore, the Millworks is part of Harrisburg’s growth as a destination attraction for the region.
THE BREWERY
The Millworks on-site Brewery produces craft beers made with local ingredients and are served and available in both the restaurant and the rooftop biergarten. Enjoy a craft beer with a local and sustainable meal or while strolling through our art galleries.
THE BAR
Our full service bar features craft beers brewed on site from our brewery and nano brews from local PA breweries. We feature a full menu of spirits and artisan cocktails and full food service is also provided at the bar.
THE RESTAURANT
The 180 seat restaurant focuses on authentic local & sustainable food, sourced from growers and producers in the Central Pennsylvania region. Focusing on relationships with growers, and being next to the oldest continuously operated farmers market in the country, the Millworks works to create a sustainable food network, connecting local farms to the city.
ROOFTOP BIERGARTEN
Venture out onto the 165 seat rooftop biergarten and enjoy an aerial view of Midtown Harrisburg. The rooftop serves craft beers from the Millworks Brewery, wines, and specialty cocktails. Take a seat with a beer, cocktail, or a glass of wine, order food, and enjoy some fun pub games with friends. No reservations available or needed.
OUTDOOR COURTYARD
Located in the center of the building, the open air courtyard has views of the restaurant, the brewery, and art galleries and studios, allowing customers to sip local beers while soaking up the atmosphere. The courtyard also has full service from the restaurant.
ARTIST STUDIOS
Thirty two regional artists have studios located inside the Millworks' building. The artists will work on their wares as customers watch from the restaurant and biergarten. Sculptors, painters, and other disciplines will use their studios as their primary location for production. Customers are encouraged to walk through the studios, engaging with the artists and seeing their craft performed in person.
ART GALLERIES
The entry of the building leads directly into one of three art galleries, displaying the works of the Millworks' artists. Restaurant and bar goers will be able to see and buy displayed items, focused on offering art at an accessible price range.
