Story

On Veteran’s Day, 1964, Milt and Doris Huggs switched on their soon-to-be-famous neon sign for Milt’s Coffee Shop. The sign has been a beacon to hungry truck drivers and families alike traveling down Highway 99. Over the years Milt’s has become a designated stop for people looking for “a happy place for hungry people”.

Ordered Chicken Fried Steak and Ground Beef dinners. Delivered dinner and rolls without any butter for rolls. Asked for steak sauce and more gravy on the side. It was never brought to us. In the meantime we noticed the chicken fried steak was chicken fried chicken, not steak. When waitress came back (15 minutes later) we asked again for steak sauce and extra gravy and butter. She apologized and brought gravy and butter but forgot the steak sauce again.Then told waitress of mistake in order of not receiving what we ordered. She did comp us for the dinner and gave us a free desert. Very disappointing.

Always great friendly service. My family and I have been coming here for over 10years and we are never disappointed with the items we order. There is something for everyone on the menu and the food has been consistent, we know what to expect when we order our favorite dishes and that's why we continue to frequent this establishment. We 💜 Milt's.

Good food with great character(s)! From their cinnamon rolls (the size of your head) to their famous family recipe carrot cake, or their waitresses to centurions prowling the time tested tables. Or, maybe just a simple bowl of oatmeal?

Place was pretty busy,but we were seated right away. The server asked our drink order but never returned. Waited Only To See HER leaving . Once we finally ordered every thing was good except never had drinks refilled. We normally have a great experience here. Will try again, but being a mix-race couple sometimes we don't get nice treatment.

My then soon to be bro-in-law took me to Milts for first time 13yrs ago. Was not disappointed then, and still not disappointed now 13yrs later. Service (from Cheryl and Miranda) is top notch. Food (no matter what I order) is always fresh and cooked quickly. Spend your money here and you won't be disappointed!
