Today is April 20th, 2015. I'm here to admit someone to the psychiatric crisis department. I've been standing in the hallway for 45 minutes waiting for someone to even let us into the waiting room  I'm told they are working with someone in the back. Is this supposed to mean they only have enough staff to accommodate one person at a time? They can't even let people into the waiting room to keep troubled individuals from having to interact with people walking by in the hallways? This is unacceptable. I shouldn't be standing around or sitting on the hallway floor just to wait for the EMPTY waiting room. Is this indicative of their actual treatment procedures? What if the person I have here is attempting.to harm themself right now?

This place is literally a hell hole. These psychiatrists are merely drug pushers. They don't care to discuss a patient's intellection by which one arrives to their beliefs, the patient's reasoning of why they have a certain view or why they feel a certain way. They are rather quick to diagnose one's condition - however wrong such diagnosis might be, however brief such assessment may be - and prescribe drugs, rather than intellectually reason with a patient -to understand one's rationalization and counter rationalize with the patient-, or use non-pharmaceuticals to treat a patient, - be that colors and light or sound vibrations, and vitamins and minerals. Their science entails drugging people into lethargic states of being with ultra-expensive pharmaceuticals. Someday these scientist will have to adopt treatments in collaboration to other fields of study and any drugs they prescribe used with greater precision. Otherwise this place will continue to be Hell on Earth.

Doctors didn't give me the right medication any time I was there. Food is awful. Only go here if you don't have the option to go anywhere else.
