I've had no problems as a visitor,staff was helpful,very nice and courteous to me.

Staff is extremely rude and works on their time. When I called over the weekend, the Sgt I spoke with basically blew me off, doubt he even listened to a word I said. He had to ask another whom the Property Sgt even was. I call and ask to speak to the Property Sgt on a weekday, she gets on the phone, I explain my complaint of the inmate not receiving all of his property and she passes me off to the Correctional Officer whom the inmate had the dispute with. He tells me the inmate is a liar and "they like to cry a lot" and he will tell me "how it really went down". He used the exact words "We will get his stuff to him, when we get to it." This correctional officer wanted him to sign a receipt saying he received an expensive item "that was downstairs, and he'd bring up later". Seems quite odd to me. Their excuse for still not delivering it a week later is; they have to fill the WHOLE receipt out again (which should take less than 7 minutes) or hey! make a new receipt with only that item on it??? The correctional officer claims he will try to "work his butt off" to get it to him today or tomorrow. I ask, "When can I call back tomorrow?" He tells me, "why do you even need to call back tomorrow? Why is the inmate even having you call"? Goes on to tell me I can speak to the Warden if I want to, but they won't do anything anyways; just like his social worker that he spoke to yesterday. The underlying issue was the inmate refused to sign the property receipt because he didn't receive all of his property. Which he shouldn't have had to sign it, he didn't receive all of the items. So he crossed out the item not given to him and signed it, seems fair to me! Now they're basically playing games because they have the power. I thought this place would be about rehabilitating but it doesn't seem to me they're rehabilitating. They're trying to cause arguments! The inmate is at this facility for a treatment program and he feels he won't be successful throughout because the property department obviously has a power struggle and is obviously best buds with all the correctional officers there. Luckily, we don't have a cheap attorney! I will be informing him on the struggle we are facing and doubt he'll be able to help at the moment but at least he's aware. I shouldn't feel threatened for my husband's success, but I do even while I'm leaving this review! Who knows maybe they'll hold his property even longer because I gave them a 1 Star but if I could give a 0 Star I absolutely would!!!

U dont rehabilitate. Inmates they go in come out scared and dont know what to do
