Best hookah I’ve tried in the downtown area. It’s better earlier on weekends though. The vibe definitely changes after midnight. It’s way rowdier and less about the hookah so they start restricting the menu options. Recco it as a pregame before bar hopping on weekends or just going early / on weekdays if you are more interested in smoking. I usually order ice in the base and prefer the specialty flavors. Smoky sangria is 10/10!

It was fine I guess. Though if you want Well drinks make sure you say it over and over again or you'll get upcharged. Nearly $300 for two people is insane. I'm visiting from NYC and have never paid that much for 6 drinks and 2 hookahs in my life. The atmosphere was fine but not worth that much.
I recently visited Mina Lounge and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service was far from satisfactory, and I felt disrespected by the manager or owner. Their behavior was not only rude but also seemed to display a clear lack of respect for customers. One of the most concerning aspects of my visit was the racial discrimination I encountered. It was disheartening to witness such behavior in a supposedly inclusive and welcoming establishment. I strongly advise against visiting Mina Lounge based on my personal experience. In conclusion, the service at Mina Lounge was horrible, and the manager or owner's disrespectful attitude, coupled with their racist behavior, made my visit extremely unpleasant. I highly do not recommend this establishment.
Kind staff, well prepared drinks, and elegant interior. Mina Lounge offers a wide variety of drinks and signature cocktails/mocktails. The food menu is quite small as they focus more on drinks and hookah. Also, by far the fastest served and most flavorful hookah I've enjoyed in San Diego! The lounge has plenty of flavors to choose from along with multiple fruit combinations. Highly recommended for large or small groups, business professionals, and hookah loving patrons alike.
As a hookah enthusiast, I would give this place a full 5 star review. The vibes are amazing, the prices are very reasonable, the have a great atmosphere and a full bar. They actually go down to the actual hookah smoking experience by providing essentials like ice in the base, fruit top bowls, and even milk in the base! You could also ask for liquor or wine in the base which definitely elevates your hookah experience. Everytime I’m in SD, this is the spot!
My first time at a hookah lounge. Service was terrible. It was impossible to get the check. They just wanted more money. There was no atmosphere. The music was quiet and there was no vibe. Go somewhere else!Food: 1/5
The staff were very rude and disrespectful. The food was terrible. They don’t respond to you when you need them and make you wait for 10 minutes. The worst hookah we have ever smoked. No one should ever go there. Don’t waste your money. I do not recommend at all.Food: 1/5
Stay away from this place if you care about your dignity, and the food and hookah are so low quality; buckle up for details. The staff seem to be racist or very self entitled — they do not listen to customers needs. We were shaking from the cold yet they threw us out, not even with an explanation. I insisted on an explanation as I was seeing another table still inside, they only said ‘it’s late’ after they had closed the door fiercely. I felt unsafe. Earlier, a waiter came to pick up shots from our tabke as it was past 2 am — he did so so forecely that the alcohol splashed out — we had not even drunk the shots yet! I had the most terrible experience — stay away from this place!
The server was the best She was always asking us if we need anything she was smiling and professional The inly thing that i didnt like is they ask for a visa card to start taking your orders and i was carrying cash only that was really unprofessional and disrespectfulFood: 5/5
