We love Mine By Design!  It's great family fun for all ages - the kids love it as much as we do - ceramics, glass, pottery.  Bring your friends or family. You don't have to be especially "artistic" either - if you can paint, you can find something fun to do. They have wonderful "made to order" gifts for special events too.  This is a great find.  Check it out!

Cute little place. However a pretty small selection of both ceramics and paint colors. Did not see any pieces that aren't in every other pottery painting shop. However, they do the ceramic glass fusion and the glass art, which is original. Relaxing atmosphere. Right next to a public parking lot.

I had an incredible experience with younger sister and grandmother. Painting was fun and relaxing and the staff was very friendly. By the end I had a great story, a new favorite place in Philly, and a cool new mug!

Fun way to get creative! We painted pottery and made the colored glass art. Both projects were easy and came out beautiful. We were walk-ins, but it will probably be a good place to book a party too.

My family and I visited MBD on Mother's Day for their brunch event and we were blown away with how much care was taken by the studio to create the perfect day for Moms!  My Mom in particular was excited to go, but lacking in her confidence to create a great work of art.  Every member of the staff was attentive to each customer's needs and offered ideas and encouragement, as well as instruction which resulted in all 4 of us creating a project we were proud of.  

Since that day we've all been back to visit multiple times. There are so many possible projects available at Mine by Design! I don't see any reason why we would spend any time at studios where "paint your own pottery" is the only option now that we have MBD.
