Miramar Bakery is a historic family-owned bakery serving the best Cuban coffee, empanadas, pastries, and other desserts in South Florida since 1983!

Story

A tradition in Broward County, Miramar Bakery has been providing Hollywood, FL with authentic Cuban cuisine, both savory and sweet, for over 30 years. We make everything in our case fresh in-house every morning, striving to make it taste just like our abuelas (grandmothers) did. We are most well known for our Cuban coffee, pastries and our famous flan cheesecake. Our savory menu also features Cuban classics like arroz con pollo, vaca frita, ropa vieja, and mojo chicken. Need to impress? We also offer catering for parties and events.

This place used to be great when they were at their previous location. They started by making the cheesecake flan smaller "because everything is more expensive" and from there everything else went downhill! Their guava pastries have almost no filling, their bocadito spread is rancid, the cheese pastries are super dry and crumbly and I have tried for the past two month to order a cappucino cake to no avail, it's either too close to a weekend, or they don't bake on weekends, or you have to leave a deposit first, or the owner is not there to bake it, or you have to give them a 3 day notice "unless you'd like to buy it without sirope". Sometimes you give a business the benefit of the doubt because you've known them for a long time but it's time to leave them for good. Too many bakeries providing better service and business. Just go to La Carreta's side cafeteria, yes there's always a line but that tells you how good they are 
They don't compromise quality and their guava pastries and croqjetas are yum! Although a little far from there but definitely worth it is Don Pan International Bakery on Sunrise Blvd. Take your money there and you wont regret it!

Very tasty pork sandwich although it could've use more pork meat. The cortadito coffee and the guava and cheese pastelitos are to die for. Highly recommended if you are in this area!

This is how I received my "Desayuno Especial."
Although management was kind enough to try to fix it, my stomach was not satisfied with the timing and back-and-forth. 
If you don't like ham, make sure you make note of that to your server, because its not in any of the menu description.  Not to mention, make sure you're specific with the way you want your eggs. I asked for  "fried over easy." 
Other than my breakfast being a complete disaster at the early 6:10am on a Friday, I give this place 3 stars because everything else in their desert and pastelito cooler/ warmer look absolutely delicious and authentic.

Omg finally a Cuban bakery in Hlwd. 1st time on Saturday, the croquetas were out of this world. Definitely will b back!!!!

The worst place ever I had ask the lady that answer the phone if I place an order for pick up it will be ready in 20min. she reply of course even sooner so I did not order nothing crazy some Cuban toast and coffee I went almost 25 mins. After I place the order to my surprise order wasn’t ready and didn’t even start making it till I finish paying I wasted 15 more mins. There and try to speak with the manager she wasn’t available they have no organization how so ever this is just the worst experience ever should it look at the negative reviews before choosing this place I hope this help anybody that wants to go there. My first and for sure my last :(
