We were travelling across Canada suffering from road rage and stress along with our children and dogs Thank God we stopped at Mirror Lake Resort Campground Shuniah Thunder Bay ON   It was so very late and the office was closed a most generous and decent man approached us and gave us a beautiful site by the lake for the night.  He started a fire for us.. Eventhough the weather was poor and drizzling rain he made our stay the best time we had throughout our entire journey. We had complimentary coffee and a muffin in the rustic Chalet and the children were given an amethyst souvenier from Eric.. We will certainly stop to visit them again:) tami mike and kids

A very friendly place.  Both the owners and the other guests are exceptionally friendly.  Lovely campground with lots of space.  We were a family group of 1 RV, 1 screen tent, 2 sleeping tents.  We were given two spots side by side and had lots of room.  Lovely little beach.  Very quiet.  Would highly recommend this campsite.  We were there to visit the mines and it was very close and convenient.

Mirror Lake is a great camp ground filled with great people that you see every year you camp there plus all the new people you meet during the camp. Canada day weekends are amazing and may I say the city fireworks don't even come close to comparing to the shows three owners and campers put on here not to mention Halloween truck or treating for the kids just before closing weekend. All in all a very amazing fun camping experience for everyone families and all.

Was there at the end of the season. Service was poor and when someone did show up he was drunk and no help. Site was good if your looking to do some car camping.
