The best friend catfish in Portland! Sometime a bit of a wait, but totally worth it. Catfish, grits and eggs are my go to every 2 weeks!! Try their hot sauce, the green ol' original recipe has a ton of flavor. Love the staff and the atmosphere. You'll be back again, and again, and again!

This food in this place is absolutely incredible! I had the Gumbo bowl, it’s a huge portion and comes with a side of the best corn bread I’ve had and also with butter and homey which I never had before but I have to say it’s delicious! Good and friendly service with a very reasonable priced menu! Happy hour on food Monday/Thursday/Friday 3 to 6!

Delicious food. My go-to is the chicken fried steak; the gravy is amazing. The home fries have great seasoning. I did have one of the stack sandwiches where the biscuit was very dry, so that wasn't the best, but you can't go wrong with the CFS. The deep fried pickles are also good but make sure you have enough people to eat them all because they give you a huge pile!

Great food, but it's always hot as hell in here. Thought it was just hot during summer, but 40 degrees out, and still too hot inside. Hard too enjoy your food when your sweating, but love the catfish and mashed potatoes with sausage gravy. They should invest in some AC and it would stay packed lol.

F*** ME THIS PLACES IS AMAZING!! IF YOU DON'T EAT HERE YOU ARE MISSING OUT HUGELY!! Edit.... I can't remember how long it's been since I've been here. I'm thinking it's been about a week and a half but I'm dying to go back. I look at these pictures and they make me sad because I want to be there again. I love you Miss Delta!!
