Transferred my son here from another school he didn't like. He loves it here and the staff is great! I see smiles everywhere. The teachers are awesome! I sense in my spirit, the Holy Spirit here. I also see the quality of school work here given to my son, hence, that I am a teacher at a good school in FBISD. I am a person of faith, so this is a good school as well!

Excellent School. My son went there as a toddler and pre-schooler. The teachers are awesome. My son still fondly remembers Mrs Armanda, Barbara and Tarryn. He always looked forward to his school and really enjoyed his time there and at the same time learnt a lot.

I've been a parent at this school since 2010.

Pros: 
1. Small class sizes
2. Caring teachers
3. Biblical foundation

Cons:
1.  Nepotism ~ A new Head of School came aboard at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year. She hired her son, which wouldn't have been a problem if he weren't allowed a revolving door of employment. Initially he was teaching PE and music. He then left and the children were without a PE teacher for months. Some parents were even asked to fill in. Our children deserve better than this.  I didn't find any of this out until months after the young man had quit. Now he's back, this time holding babies in the daycare section. 

2. Lack of communication with parents ~ This is a glaring problem at MBCA these days. I find it appalling that I had to learn that the school had been behind on curriculum through another parent in general conversation (which my child's teacher confirmed). Instead of the head of school sending out a correspondence to parents about the problem and ways in which to bring our students up to speed, nothing was ever discussed openly about this. 

  2b The bookkeeper either quit or was let go (again, no communication). Afterwards, some random guy was filling the space in the bookkeeper's office. Shortly afterwards they hired someone else. Nothing was ever sent out informing parents of a new point of contact if we had billing questions, which were many because the billing system is awful. Errors galore. 

  2c. When her son left initially, nothing was ever properly communicated that they were in search of a new PE and music teacher. There were days when the kids barely did anything worthwhile in PE because of the lack of a suitable instructor.

Overall, I don't feel I've gotten my hard-earned money's worth at MBCA. If the Board of Directors and Head of School want to retain current students, they should begin working diligently to resolve these issues.

ssion Bend's Best Kept Secret! I have a 2yr old and WE (myself, son & husband) ARE IN LOVE with the teachers, staff, school, just very happy and greatful we found this school. We will continue having him enrolled until we move out the area. It's honestly like a BIG LOVING FAMILY! I drop him off each morning w.piece of mind. He doesn't even tell me bye! lol-----
