We camped with our children ages 3 and 5. The park had beautiful tall trees and a quiet camp ground. The trails were not very strenuous. Kid friendly. I highly recommend this park for families and nature lovers.

Beautiful Place to camp and hike. A lot of history is in this park. They have clean toilets and showers. There a park inside the park for the kids to play on. They have a Jr. Ranger program for the kids too. Power and water Hookups for your RV, and a dump station. The RV spots can accommodate up to 45' but are uneven, and it's very hilly getting down to the camping area, but manageable.

Went here with my boy scout troop and had a great time. The restrooms were well cleaned and the whole area felt great and comfortable. Totally recommend for any family or troop to come out here and stay a while.

We generally love to camp at State parks, however, maybe we chose the wrong time to visit this one. The RV sites were not level, and the platforms were in disrepair. When we arrived we were greeted by a note on the office wall that there was no electricity anywhere in the park. The bath houses had no lights or hot water. We could not use the water hook up at our site to refill our fresh water tank because the line pressure was too strong for our rig. We never would have guessed we would need to travel with a pressure reducer for water hook up. Disappointed.

Just drove around to see the place. Great location. The camping spots look great. Will be coming back to camp soon.
