The City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department is proud to serve the citizens of Missoula with quality recreation programs, well-maintained parks and trails, and an abundance of open space lands. Missoula boasts more than 500 acres of city parkland, 26 miles of trails, 3,300 acres of conservation lands and 20,000 park and boulevard trees. Our mission is to ensure every Missoula neighborhood is well-served with parks and open space, recreational facilities, and bicycle and pedestrian access to the great outdoors.
