A great place to visit with friends and family. There are many Living History Museum buildings with knowledgeable re-enactors to answer your questions. Missouri Town is located approximately 30 minutes east of Kansas City in Fleming Park.

Very cool restored town of Missouri Town, Authentic recreations, restored buildings and examples of life in 1855. A must see stop for History Buffs and families who want their kids to see what life was like before the www and xBox.. Dont miss out on the roaming Buffalo just across the road from the town..

Love this place..... Such a eye-opening experience.  I am amazed at what it took to survive in that time. We as a people have gotten very 'soft'.
