I was a fool for buying my coffee at a grocery store considering Mitalena is right in the neighborhood. Ordering online is easy and they grind the beans to your specifications. I’ve been forced to switch to decaf and Mitalena has made that switch rather painless. I can’t say enough good things about my first bag, except that I can’t wait to buy more!

I *love* the Golden Pecan Organic Low Acid coffee in the single serve cups. All the low acid organic flavors are pretty delicious.  I have ordered directly from the website and they are prompt, and the price is better on their site than on other online retailers. I highly recommend their product and their customer service!

I ordered this to give it a try because I suffer from stomach issues. It is amazing! The flavors are great and it is a smooth coffee with no bitter aftertaste. I ran out and tried another brand of Sumatra k cups because I read it is naturally low acid and my stomach got upset immediately. I bought more Mitalena and my stomach was not aggravated from it. I definitely recommend this coffee.

Wonderful coffee! I especially like the low acid variety. I started buying this brand at my local big-box grocery store and liked it so much that after they stopped carrying it, I ordered it online. Unfortunately, the prices are rising rather steeply recently.

I am an avid coffee drinker and have tried just about every brand and every restaurant. I love coffee and the one I drink on a daily basis is Cafe Don Pedro by Mitalena. The low acid, Arabica blend allows me to drink whenever I want and when I serve to guests, they comment how good it tastes.  It's hard to find in grocery stores so I order online by the case. I suffer from bad acid reflux and search constantly for a low acid coffee.  I decided to give Mitalena a try.  I like it a lot!  The only thing is that I wish the vanilla bean which is what I ordered had a little more vanilla flavor.  But, all in all I am very happy with this coffee!

The freshness of my usual Yemen Mokha Matari highest altitude Red Sea coffee green beans was amazing. So fresh that after roasting I had to increase coarseness on my grinder to permit a timely extraction. The packaging was also exemplary. Will definitely buy again.

Mitalena is a direct importer and major coffee roaster doing large commercial volume business out of West Houston. And have for years. And are still just as nice.  This is neither a retail store,  nor an online only limited storefront. They know their coffee. These folk are incredibly gracious, hospitable.  I have been their customer for over 20 years now.  I have visited several times but for convenience usually order and ship now.  They do maintain a nice web store with representative coffees from all over the world. I just use it as a guide.  I  email or call and tell them what coffee characteristics my wife likes such as highly fragrant, low acid.  And let them pick from their current  inventory, which is even more than the website lists.  But you can use the web site to control exactly what is ordered, grind, quantity, roast.  Even  hard to find turkish coffee powder for ibriks!  I have them roast and ship via UPS then I freeze the coffee till used.  What MitaLena Coffee really is,  is a large warehouse filled with directly imported bags of green coffee spaced out  every few feet.  And  large and medium large  roasters and a small custom packing plant.  They supply many stores throughout greater Houston and the US. And they custom can, bag and custom label.   Recommended. 5 stars.
