This quaint restaurant in Miami Springs is a jewel. Their variety of tantalizing menu options makes you want to go back to keep trying it all. The flavor pairing of there menu items are different and delicious. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. They even have live music some nights.

I just tried this interesting looking place in Miami Springs for the first time today. I’ll admit it’s a lovely interior and unfortunately the best part of our experience was the nice waitress who was very kind and welcoming. 
 everything from there was Not as impressive or tasteful ,as how pretty the interior  is and for how expensive the menu items are. 
simply put, I ordered a basic breakfast with some French toast and I ended up leaving with a $25 bill so  I paid $30 for a regular breakfast that I could’ve gotten anywhere else for about 10 to 15.   That would have been much more tastier and enjoyable. 
 I am looking at all of the positive reviews  that mixto has and yet I wonder ,if it sounds so great ,why is it so empty on the busiest breakfast day of the week?  When the restaurant 50 feet up on the corner has so much business that people will still be willing to wait an hour to get in while they are empty.  It’s a lovely restaurant that has potential and I would love to be able to communicate with the owners so that I could give them some points of view that might be able to help Turn business around and take it vantage of the large breakfast  market that they are completely missing out on.✌🏻 This is a Wynwood restaurant in the wrong neighborhood . Best of luck to them.

Mixto was a very good experience.  The decor eclectic, staff welcoming, music a bit loud, but all in all good experience. 

The meal was full of flavors and a journey for the senses.  Although the plates were not big sized, the flavors made up for the smaller portions.

The only suggest we had was the food should of been warmer.  It seemed all was served room temp.

A definite must for all to try!

Great food! Definitely surpassed expectations.  Love places with great tasing unique menus and this place definitely fits the bill.

Great atmosphere and very nice place overall. The owner came over and asked us several times what we thought, which was really cool. The price point and portions were a bit too Wynwood for my taste, but the food was delicious. Make your portions a bit bigger, bring in some more "classic staples" and I'll change my review to 5 stars.
