Have been patiently waiting since Feb for this location to open, and I’m glad its finally here so I don't need to drive up to Seattle once a month! We have a few other mochi donut makers in the Portland metro, but none that I know of that specialize and consistently make mochi donuts. We went today day two of soft opening and the donuts were great! Good flavor and texture, perfectly done, etc etc. Had one of each, and loved the variety of flavors as always. Fast service considering how busy it was, and everything came out fresh. My only complaint is the bubble tea. We tried both the matcha and the thai tea, and both had an odd underlying flavor/after taste? I assume they use powdered mixes, based on the appearance and flavor of the teas. The boba had a good chew to it. If you aren’t picky about milk tea, it was decent, but I personally won’t get it again with several better bubble teas just down the street. I WILL be returning for donuts though, probably in the next week! I wish I could do 4.5 stars. GREAT donuts, and I can’t wait to return and try the corndog offerings when they have them.
I give it 4 stars because I didn't try their corn dogs but experience was fine . It is pretty spendy for some donuts but they are delicious. I love, love, love the texture. It's just so *chef's kiss* . The iced coffee was good too, a little too sweet but drinkable. The tapioca balls sweet and also a great texture. Service was fine. No wait time. Not really a place to sit and hang out though, there was a bar seating area with a few chairs but other than that, just some chairs lined up against a wall. There was family eating their mochi donuts outside with their kids. Maybe some tables would be beneficial.
There is a lot of hype about this place from my friends and I couldn't help but finally give it a visit and their mochinut a try. We purchased half a dozen and tried every flavor. My favorite for the season was the blueberry nature valley and rice krispies. This is lighter than actual donuts and I love it. The fact that's also sharable pieces makes it more fun.
I come here for their corn dogs! They are so good with the spicy cheddar dip. My roommate loves their doughnuts! Their drinks are not the best but they’re decent. I do wish they had more seating, it’s not really a place to sit in and eat
Cool mochi donut place that has made its way to Oregon. The place offers a rotating flavors of mochi donuts. I liked the strawberry funnel cake a lot. They lay have some unique corn dogs and also a selection of boba drinks.
for what it is, overpriced; donuts are not even that chewy mochi donuts should have more chew in my opinion. 6 flavors per day, they switch the flavors twice a week. person taking orders/boxing them wasn't too friendly, understand it was kind of busy bc they don't have enough workers but still... the only nice thing which I found out after the visit based on my own research is they post the flavors on their Instagram, but it would be helpful if they updated their Google maps business section too
This was pretty good. I did not care for their Thai bubble tea. But the doughnuts are super tasty! Which is why I still gave it 5 star. They are not to sweet and super light. Staff is always nice as well.
Sweets are a bit pricey, but worth it. They are so pretty to look at too. I loved the way they serve their drinks, so yummy. Are the treats so fast I didn’t even get a picture.
Omg! It's soo delicious I didn't get a chance yo try their corndogs but these donuts are soo good!
Oh wow the rice battered hot dog is amazing! I'll be back for all of the varieties. Honestly, the donuts weren't my thing. They're soft and chewy, and the dough isn't sweet, only the glaze. It's just a preference and they are very well made. But I'll be back for the fried cheese!
