I have been going to them for many years. The ladies are very friendly, knowledgeable  & efficient.  Never had a bad experience.  When they reopened following the pandemic, their cleaning after each client was excellent.  Best salon in town!

Have been going to see Katie for haircuts at Modern for years. Always clean facility and friendly staff. Never had a bad cut and prices are reasonable. Make sure you you tip well, after all they do make you look good.

I came into Modern HC and didn't really know what I was looking for but knew I wanted some color to freshen up my hair. I instantly felt at ease with Kara. She is so sweet and you can tell she is educated on color and passionate about what she does! She gave me high/low lights and they look absolutely gorgous!! The difference is night and day. Way more than I could've hoped for. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out && thank you so much Kara for making this momma feel beautiful!

First of all, this place is awesome it has really cute chairs for kids and activities for kids to play with while you’re getting your haircut. Anjie did an excellent job at layering my hair and it was so quick my kids didn’t even have time to misbehave . I would strongly recommend this place and if you’re a busy mom that  can’t sit in the chair too long. Make an appointment with Anjie

My hair grows slow. It finally started growing through my pregnancy. It was FINALLY where i wanted it to be after growing it for YEARS. I just wanted a trim. I have curly hair so cutting it at all is dramatic for me. I went into Modern haircare asking for a half inch trim. Should be minimal changes. Needless to say when i left my right side was at least 2+inches shorter than my left side and my layers were 3inches shorter. I dont remember asking this lady to cut all my hair off. Layers make my hair so big!! Unless they are long layers and cut correctly. When i got home and noticed the length difference i left with wet hair. I was already upset that my hair was so short i didnt notice the length difference. when i got home i immediately called the salon. I went in the next day to get it evened out. There goes MORE hair to even it out. My hair is about 4 inches shorter than when i originally went in. Not only did i just have a baby and feeling down about my body and trying to fix that but Now my perfect hair is gone too. I cant style it like i did EVERY DAY. I cant throw it in a bun for an easy style because im a mom and sometimes i cant curl my hair everyday with a newborn. My hair is huge. It doesnt lay the same anymore. It takes A LOT longer to do.  I am so completely upset. I will never go back to this salon again.And if i do, it wont be to Sue. If you can't listen to your client and do a simple haircut then your clients wont come back. I could have been a great client who would have spent a lot of money in your salon with you. I LOVE just getting my hair blow dried. Easy money twice a week. I dye my hair. I have a lot. Good money there too. I also keep up on my tiny trims. -- you missed out on a great client.  Advice : it doesnt matter how much you THINK your client needs off. If they ask you for a half inch or a quarter, you do as they ask. You dont take matters into your own hands. You dont know my lifestyle. You dont know my hair and you didnt even bother to ask. I sat in your chair, gave you a shot and trusted you.  Thank you for making each day i look in the mirror a little less happy. I dont feel pretty. And its going to take A VERY LONG TIME for me to get those 4+ inches back.  Sincerely A super UNHAPPY walk in that will never walk in again.

Sue has been doing my hair for awhile.  She is an amazing beautician & alot of fun to talk to.
