Story

Moe's Original Bar B Que features award-winning Bama-style pulled pork, ribs, wings, chicken, and turkey smoked over hardwood served with two unique sauces in addition to fried catfish and a shrimp Moe-Boy sandwich. Additionally, eight to ten traditional Southern sides and tasty desserts are served fresh daily from recipes passed down for generations. Large party takeout orders and full service catering with delivery are also available.

My girlfriend and I are regulars here, always getting their pork nachos with extra cheese. I have a tendency to jump around and try all of their specials (there's a different one every day), and it's worth it. Their meatloaf is different but definitely worth a try. The Thanksgiving sandwich is good too.

Good selection of flavors on the wings, and you can mix and match.

They make some of the best mixed drinks around here, and if beer is more your speed, they have many kinds on tap, including my personal favorite - the "hippie" from Goat Island.

Absolutely out of this world BBQ on homemade crispy potato chips are the star on the menu. There are lots of other ways to eat BBQ here— pulled pork, chicken, turkey, and ribs- sandwiches, plates, and take out for families. They have both red and white sauces. The decor is original as well. It is a fun and friendly atmosphere. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Excellent food, pulled pork was spot on. Fried green tomatoes were delicious, as were the black eyed peas.  Portion size for the sides were too small.  Three tomato slices and a scant half cup or less of peas was it.  Sandwich was on the small side too, compared to others I've been to.

5 stars for quality. Will go back.
