Quaint spot in Allston with limited seating. There are self-service kiosks if you don't enjoy interacting with other people like I do. They do take online orders though, so keep that in mind if you're feeling impatient. Took off one star because like another reviewer mentioned, the kiosk defaults to a 5% tip. You have to manually select the custom option and type in 0 if you don't want to tip. I do love their taro and pudding milk tea though so I'll most definitely be back.
Super good bubble tea spot .. I’ve been to many spots around the city & just found another gem. The options available are great nothing really is the same in terms of flavor as they all have different flavors with different blends or either fruit tea , foam tea, or bubble tea. I really enjoyed the mango pamelo and since i don’t really like sugary drinks I love that they can put the least amount of sugar which is 30% and still taste really good. Loved the diced pieces of mango at the bottom make it even better as well with the boba. Orea milk tea was smooth not to sweet it was just right. Will definitely keep coming back as I still have to go try the yogurt fruit tea.
Best fresh fruit tea shop in the Allston/Brighton area. Store is clean, couple tables for you to sit and relax. Teas are made from the fresh fruits. We had a big order for the party and all the drinks are tasty!
The Four Seasons tea is pretty good but rather expensive. The smallest size is $6.50+ before tax. The worst part of the experience is by far the ordering. There are 2 self-order kiosks with the worst check-out experience possible. You can ostensibly order with the one-person working the place but then the entire line is held up. When you use the kiosk, it annoyingly asks you to input your phone number with no option to opt out. They mask this under the guise of sending you updates for your order but lets be honest, you are 2 feet from the counter, you don't need to be texted. AND you've given up your number for their marketing. Second, the screen defaults to a tip with no "0% tip" option. You have to click the "Other amount" and then type in "0". At every step of the way, I feel like I was being shaken down and they just hoped to wear me down enough to get what they wanted. A truly hostile user experience and one I will seek to avoid in the future.
The grape smoothie was good. Kinda disappointed with the Mango Pomelo, they didn’t put coconut milk in it at all, it tasted like cheese foam instead. The mango was not ripe either.
New bubbletea spot in the Allston/Brighton area and it is sooo good! Gongcha or Royal Tea in chinatown are usually my favorites but definitely adding Moge Tee to the list. My favorite aspect of Moge is that their bobas taste super fresh and has that perfect balance of chewiness and not being disintegratingly soft if you know what I mean. Apart from the boba, the milk tea I always just get regular milk tea, I'm 100% sure their unique flavor offerings are really good too tastes great. Overall I'd say this is already one of the best spots in Boston for bubbletea, highly recommend checking them out
I’m so excited that Moge Tea finally come to Boston. Me and my boyfriend order 2 drinks: The grapes smoothie and fruit tea. We both got half sweet: * The grape Smoothie only has the sugar & grape taste, but no tea flavor at all. I feel like I was drinking the sugar water all the time. My boyfriend likes the cheese cap. *The fruit Tea is surprisingly very very sour and passion fruit flavor taste like fake syrup, and no tea taste at all, I really hate it. *Service is slow, we waited for 20 minutes. Over all 3 stars, I probably won’t drive long way here to try other drinks since I love the bubble tea with strong tea flavor.
I ordered 2 Yogurt Avocado with white pearls. They didn’t mention to me that the drink already come with white pearl . So they charged me extra for white pearl on each drink and fill basically half of the drinks with toppings. The drink alone came up to $10 each. When I saw the drink, I was confused but still tried to be polite and asked them if the drink already came with white pearls. The only response I got back was “Yea…sorry”. I’m very disappointed that: 1. They did nothing about the drinks 2. They refused to acknowledge that they were supposed to let the customers know beforehand if they are ordering something that’s already included in the drink
Easy ordering kiosks and pickup system. Lots of fruit teas and cheese foam options! Beautiful cups and we loved the fruit tea with sliced fruit in it. Parking: It’s one of the busiest intersections in Brighton. Street parking is available but difficult to find. Side streets are all strictly resident-only and your car WILL get ticketed and towed if you park in resident-only areas! They are legit waiting to catch people here
The drinks were ok, not bad. The atmosphere could have been a little cuter and they could have played some pop music. The server was friendly and service was fast which is always good. I said 100% ice but to me it was alot less and 50 % sugar wasn't really 50% so I suggest u say sweeter if your selecting 50% sugar.Food: 3/5
