"Welcome to Momonoki! We’re a counter service restaurant focusing on casual Japanese comfort fare. From the partners who establishedBrush Sushi Izakaya in downtown Decatur,GA.Momonoki will serve chef driven Ramen, Tsukemen dipping ramen Donburi raw/cooked rice bowls, Katsu Sando Japanese cutlet sandwiches, salads and small plates. A full bar stocked with cocktails, sake, wine and local/Japanese brews in cans/bottles and on tap will round out the menu.“Momonoki” translates to “Peachtree” in Japanese, which of course, is a nod to our beloved city. Our logo, which is a peach with the kanji character “wood” written within, somewhat represents the “285 perimeter” with 75/85 down the middle and I-20 going across!"

Highly Recommend: Spicy Miso Ramen Pork Yuzu Shoyu Ramen Black Garlic Pepper Edamame Sweet Toast *crunchy/soft Takoyaki balls of squid Etc Etc Etc just returned from Japan & this food! is spot on The parking in the city is awful, like any city nowadays, lrg or small free prkg on Sun, but if you can get past that, it's worth the trip. We ordered so much food, that I can safely say, I only found one item I didn't enjoy until I added the black garlic paste from another dish & soaked it in the Spicey Ramen broth from another. That made it perfect. I hear it's leaving the menu so I won't make further mention. Enjoy
Super cute and detailed speciality coffee shop in ATL. I really love the inviting atmosphere. I got a hot americano and strawberry croissant. Very refreshing and yummy. I really hate that there is limited seating in the upstairs seating area but other than that…everything is clean and nice. I love how there’s also outside seating! I haven’t tried the food yet but I can’t wait to come back and try the ramen. They also do validate parking when you park next to the parking garage. Highly recommend to come check this place out if you are in midtown!
I come here all the time for pastries and matcha ice cream. They have the best matcha ice cream: it’s delicious and flavorful. I really like the matcha cookies and matcha croissants as well. Be aware of buying pastries at the end of the day because I’ve gotten some stale croissants. Otherwise, this place is great! They validate parking at the garage right night to the cafe. It’s very close not the garage before that one since there’s two garages in a row. I’ve tried the food as well but I think it’s mediocre. They’re better for their pastries in my opinion!
I liked Momonoki. They had a lot of options, including Ramen and Rice Bowls. I had the Pork Belly Ramen bowl, it could have been a little spicier, but they brought me some hot sauce. It was very good. The desserts are made fresh and awesome. The Creme Brulee was great. I would go back.
I saw the reviews are great and decided to try pantry and coffee there, but ended with disappointment. I ordered an iced black sesame latte, but the lady made a hot one. After I clarified I ordered an iced one, she pulled the hot one into the iced latte cup, added some ice into it. It’s warm, not iced, to be honest. Then I have to ask for more ice. I also ordered a choco citrus croissant. It actually tastes more like brioche with chocolate in it rather than croissant
I’ve been meaning to come to this cafe for 4 months and I finally made it. I’m sad I didn’t make it here sooner. This is my new favorite place. I specifically came here for the Strawberry Matcha Latte with oat milk and I absolutely loved it. I have been trying to consume matcha because of its health benefits and I haven’t like it when trying it at different coffee shops, but I had to come here to try it because it is highly raved about. Now I see why it is and I’m now in love with matcha…this one only. I also got the matcha croissant and it was amazing. The atmosphere is great and service was top tier. I felt like they cared about what I wanted and they recommended great items to me. This was my first time, but definitely not my last. This cafe is not that close to my home but I will gladly drive here to my new happy place .
Momonoki is a shared cafe and restaurant inspired by east Asian staple foods and simply culinary dishes. They are all pretty delicious but some of them involve house sauces or traditional flavoring. Do not expect to find sushi here. There are a ton of curries, rice bowls, ramen bowls, and quick appetizers. During brunch hour, $25 gets you bottomless mimosas. There is an area where you can quickly come and go to grab a quick coffee left side side door of the building but there are a limited number of pastries to choose from. They open at 9am but lunch doesn't start until 11am 1030am for brunch. It's a little awkward to walk around the cafe side to get to the upstairs cafe seating or down to the restaurant dining areas. They do really make it easy to place to place a to-go order through a QR code though.
This is a cafe I will remember for a long time. Pastry selection was incredible, honestly drink menu too. We got 2 drinks and 4 treats, this is not your standard cafe fare: macha brownie, chocolate strawberry egg cup, crème brulee croissant, bacon scallion scone, black sesame latte, and strawberry macha latte. The seating upstairs is lovely if you are wider and worried there won't be sturdy cafe seating, they have a nice wooden bench, not just dainty little stools. I wish I could visit every day but I'm not local and there's nothing like this back home. Wheelchair accessibility: Lobby might be a little narrow, no steps to enter, but dining area downstairs has plentiful space.
Service was excellent. They were able to answer every allergen question I had. Was very impressed with the latte art and the taste! I keep trying to think of reasons to go back.Food: 5/5
Do yourself a favor and eat here! I ordered the Katsu Sando w/avocado & shitake. Everything about it was delicious. I love that it's something that's not on every menu and I will be back to enjoy it again. To drink I had the brown sugar latte which was also delicious. Our server was attentive and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The space is fairly unassuming. Nothing wrong with it it was clean and organized but don't expect anything really special. But that's okay because after we had our first and bite, none of that mattered at all. Stopped at the cafe side on the way out to take home the creme brulee croissant and it was BEYOND! It took a little while for them to make it fresh they don't just hand you the one that's in the display case, but the small wait was SO worth it! This place is a gem!
