Omasake only.  RSVP on Yelp.  They do not take walk in so make sure you get a reservation.  The food is always good. They got some new items.  You can always order more if you are still hungry afterward.  I was full.  Come on weekdays it’s less traffic.

Authentic sushi restaurant with great service and ambience. Chefs are very talented and creative. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Definitely recommend for uni lovers!

I went this place in this summer with my wife. The inside the restaurant was looks clean and they have good interior, but the background music was club music and I felt it didn't match with the restaurant mood... Their service quality was good, especially the sushi chef always pay attention each table and seems like he cares about serve speed at best timing, but to be honest, the sushi quality was not meeting to our expectation, I mean I felt the price and quality did not match.

Post covid dining experience. Been craving for authentic sushi for too long. Unable to fly to Japan first choice or New York City 2nd choice. Finally found a place that I felt it’s very Japan-like.  Sushi is more fusion than traditional Edomae style sushi as you see various toppings on different fish. Great fish, everything is fresh and flavorful. Rice is awesome, both portion wise and taste wise.  I inquired where they got their rice from - a special crop imported from Japan. Ah no wonder the taste is much more Japan-like. I like their sauce on fish too, creates different flavor than the usual soy sauce.  They also have different menus available for take out and outdoor eating.  I highly recommended this restaurant.  Reservation required.

Chef did an amazing job. The Momoyama Omakase was 175 and included several special dishes alongside traditional sushi. Waitstaff was cleanly and helpful. This was the highlight of our trip.

Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we had an amazing time! Food was exceptional, presentation was amazing, and the service was outstanding. Highly recommended!

It’s rare that we give 5 stars to a sushi restaurant but this restaurant absolutely deserves it!  One key for serving very exquisite sushi is the rice. There’s no question that this restaurant has the best rice we have tried in O.C.  High quality premium Japanese rice with high quality fish is a perfect combination for a sushi dining experience. Even though we sat outside because of Covid, the whole dining experience was very enjoyable.  Without a doubt, this has become one of our favourite sushi restaurants in O.C. if you are skeptical about paying $120 / 160 for the omakase, try the premium set first. Even the standard set is way better than many others that we have tried.  The nigiris were so good that we had to order extra pieces! The server and the chef are very friendly too.  BTW, don’t expect to find a big sign for this restaurant because it’s a very traditional Japanese restaurant that only has a small sign on the door.  We look forward to an indoor dining experience one day because the interior looks very nice!  Another big plus is that we can make reservation online!

Absolutely I would go back every day if I lived closer. Not only was everything at the bar delicious and carefully created, the service was excellent.

Went here on diner date my wife.  What a lovely surprise.  Cool and hip place for sushi. Servers were on point.  We enjoyed every bites.

Went there for a birthday lunch. Had the premium omakase and was not disappointed. All the options were fresh and buttery. Great preparation of the food. Will come again
