If you want to buy from a store that misrepresents products, swears at their customers, and doesn't communicate store policies at the time of sale, then this is your place!

I bought a trimmer here.  The sales person misrepresented the performance of the trimmer.  I tried it out when I got home and it would barely cut grass.  I immediately returned it to the store and was told that they do not accept returns, which is not something that was communicated to me at the time of purchase.  I asked to refund or exchange (upgrade), but was refused.  They offered to send off the brand new unit to have it evaluated by a technician.  After evaluation, I came back to ask for a refund.  The manager refused and while discussing, the sales person that convinced me to buy the unit came over and started swearing at me with spit flying and a red face.  The manager completely condoned the behavior and I was the one that actually had to ask the sales person to back away and leave.

I can't think of a reason to shop here after this experience.  Lowes is right down the road and has better prices, friendlier associates, and better policies.  Why try to support a local store if they are taking advantage of people?

Disappointed in your service! I had a wheel fall off my cart. (I am a Karaoke DJ and have to have that cart to get my equipment in) I've been at my Grandmother's funeral all day, and had to rush to get there to get a bolt that fell off and held my wheel on. 1 tiny 3/8" bolt.  It took me 5 minutes to park because of the car show in the parking lot. I'm fine with that except for it made me get to the door at 6:59. The place was already locked up. There was a guy at the door letting the people that were left in there finish paying and leave. I asked. Then I begged and explained that I had to have this for work and I needed one bolt that would cost less than 20 cents probably. (12 cents at Home Depot) It would take and extra minute to ring me up. He would not let me in. Your store hours are til 7:00. If you want local people to keep your local business running, then you should help serve your local people. I understand. Everyone is done and ready to go. I would've been there 5 minutes before if parking hadn't taken so long. But would he have let me in? Looks like he closed early. I will never come to your store. I will put this review on every page possible. Very disappointed. And not the day for it. 1 less local business I will support.

Love this hardware store!   Also a great animal feed store. They have a great line of equine feeds, which they keep stocked adequately.

Needed a 1/2" x 3" brass nipple to complete a project.  $6.99 at Monroe Hardware.  $4.99 at Lowes. $2.69 Amazon Prime with free shipping!  Great staff though!
