Food is good but not enough and overpriced for the amount. Never seen so small amount in a serving. Chicken pot biscuit advertised as "enough to share" but barely enough for one. Good though at 13.99, way overpriced.

This place is delicious, but it will be a long wait for your food. Anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after placing your order. The waiters are usually pretty good at visiting often while you wait. If you're expecting quick service, you should try somewhere else, but the view and atmosphere in this place makes the wait not so bad. Their food is absolutely delicious, and yes, you should order a biscuit basket while you wait on your food. However, this place is not a good place for healthy eating choices. Their salads are pretty bad. Their $10-12 salads are the quality of a $2-4 side salad at most fast food places. Quality of ingredients and quantity of food given. BUT their main menu items are very good. Very unhealthy and delicious. It's a great treat. Even with the bad salad experience, I continue to come back because they're good. (Psst... Monsour's, please work on your salads a bit to match the quality of the rest of your menu items. 😍)

Food is okay but overpriced. The fried green tomaroes and crawfish sauce is amazing but the rest of the menu is average. The gumbo is a no go. It is all rice and little meat and the sauce taste flavorless and overcooked. The cornbread is dry. The Eddie's cabbage rolls are the same, full of rixe and the hamburger meat is a little dry. Not a great tourist spot for eats but the ambiance is beautiful and there is a nice little shop upstairs.

Food is pretty good. Biscuits are fantastic. Waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for a club sandwich is ridiculous. It's cold cuts. Not exactly a challenge to throw together.
