Always beautiful here.  Being local is such a blessing!  Whether it's fogged in or clear and hot, it's views to die for,  trails for people, horses, kids and more.  Bring camera, water,  and charged phone.  Also camp ground isn't bad for being a walk to the ocean.  Family friendly and rocks and shells are everywhere if you know where to look. Highly recommend Montana de Oro if you haven't been.

Along time ago my parents used to take me to this beach. My mother used to love going to this place. The camp ground is well kept, and small. I would urge one to consider at least visiting this  park at least once. It's a nice walk to a beautiful rocky coast surrounded by sea cliffs. The park is clean and has restrooms but no showers, so plan accordingly. The trails around the park also are interesting to take if you are a hiker.

By far my most favorite state park in the area. I have never been disappointed with my experiences here...whether it was hiking the bluffs or playing on the dunes, it was always a great time.

Great place to stretch your legs, with numerous walking trails and excellent views. The trails are well maintained. Camping areas are available. You have easy access to semi-rugged coastline and more strenuous foothill hiking. Pretty much barren of trees, typical for this coastal area. Several free parking lots for day users. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Beautiful beach to take family or wedding photos. Parking is minimal. The kids climbed on rocks, found cool seashells, and played in the pools. Dog friendly too. Gave it four stars because I picked up a clump of tar on the bottom of my tennies that I still haven't gotten off. We notices it because it stunk up the car. If you go, wear old shoes and watch were you step.
