Our daughter was married at the Montaluce winery this weekend. Everything was superb. The venue was spectacular. The food was wonderful and the staff was extremely attentive. Our wedding coordinator Jessie was especially great. She covered every variable and handled the unexpected with calm and grace. Well done across the board, Eric

This winery is absolutely stunning! My boyfriend and I had a beautiful outdoor dinner with the red wine flight. The view is breathtaking and you can't help but feel relaxed during the meal. Our server Trevor did a wonderful job. Definitely will be going back in the future.

My daughter and I love the atmosphere of Montaluce and have been several times. However, we have never had dinner at the restaurant until last Saturday evening. We met Celebrate Atlanta, as I am a member of the group who has been booked over the last few years at the same time. After getting seated and ordering wine, a few of us asked about getting bread. There were 8 at our table. When it finally came out, there was one small loaf for all of us. I told our server we would need more than that. It took about 20-30 minutes before we got 2 more loaves which went were consumed very quickly. It took a very long time before our meals came out, or should I say appetizers. The quantities were not only small but vegetables were hard to find. One lady asked for turnips as she didn't get any on her plate. I know you have your own vegetable gardens, so I don't understand why there is skimping on them. My daughter had the Sea Bass which was a very tiny piece of fish and a couple of small potatoes. All in all the portions for all the dishes were very sad. The worst part was having to add $19 to our bill for a 20% gratuity. Our bill was approx. $124 and we were still very hungry. When we left, we had to stop and get something to eat as we felt we had only eaten a snack for that hefty price. The following day we went to Kaya Winery and saw nice portions of food for lunch and the prices of food/wine were both much better, and they had a nice musician and singer on the patio which we liked better than sitting on the deck at Montaluce and looking at the vineyard. We were very disappointed in our dining experience and will not do it again. Respectfully, Joy Roberts

When we drove up to Monteluce we felt like we were transported to Italy. It was beautiful. We went inside and continued our fantasy. We were shown to our table on the second floor and had a beautiful view as the sun continued to set. The room, while very nice was not special but it was not boring either. Sound levels were pleasant. Our Waiter was very pleasant, responsive and helpful. They have a limited food and wine menu. I am guessing the food changes daily. They were busy but not crazy. We arrived at 7:30pm. We ordered a glass of wine each, a salad, and appetizer, as well as a Filet and their signature meatloaf entrees. Here is where things fell apart. The Filet was overcooked and kind of mushy like it was over tenderized. The Meatloaf, while good, was nothing special. It was my birthday and the chocolate dessert was good but not creative. We kept thinking this was supposed t be a return to Italy for us but sadly it was not. No amazing mushrooms, no creative sauces, no wonderful vegetables. At $30 plus per entrée, it was not worth the meal. They have been here for at least 8 years and do not seem to know what they are, or maybe my expectations were far too great. But a $75 per person meal should be great and memorable regardless. The chef plays it safe and provides nothing of interest. I mean Lobster Mac and Cheese? Really? Does not matter how good it is but it is old and tired. If you ever have seen the movie, Chef, this situation reminds me of that movie. Great people doing mediocre work. I don’t mind spending the money but I expected much more. Until they fix it we will not be back. Very Sad!!!
