Montana City Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer fire department dedicated to the protection of life and property in our community and surrounding areas. Located in northern Jefferson and Lewis and Clark Counties in Montana, we serve a population of just over 3,000 in an area of 35 sq. miles.
We respond to wide variety of incidents including structure fires, wildland fires, vehicle accidents/extrication/fires, medical emergencies, rope rescue, and hazardous materials. We operate out of two stations with an Engine, Tender, and Wildland/Medical Truck in each station. Our firefighters strive to bring the community we serve the finest protection possible.
