The food is wonderful! It is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in town! The service is amazing. It is obvious that the employees enjoy their job. The prices are overall good for the amounts of food you get. If you dine in, you get a cute little dessert for free. Monte D Rey always provides a happy and positive environment!

Great food and great service at a good price. Only one thing, I have been there several times just my wife and myself, at a slow time of day, plenty of empty tables. It never fails that a family with a bunch of loud kids comes in and gets seated right next to us. If the place is that empty please put them somewhere else! Would have given 5 stars if not for that.

My husband and I stopped by there for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was wonderful and our server was very attentive and polite. We will go back!

Returned to Monte D Rey, the service was great, the food was great, like always.  My husband and I eat there regular.  The best restaurant in Ashe county.  You are always treated nice there.
