Story

We are a four-year school partnered with University of Kentucky's College of Education. We offer a student-centered, teacher-guided, interdisciplinary education that gives students the academic and leadership skills they need to succeed in college and in life.

Mission

To inspire a love of learning in an environment that nurtures independence, self-respect and responsibility.

To provide a Montessori approach to the high-school educational curriculum and to prepare students for success in college, a fast-changing society and in life.

The Montessori High School is a joke, and absolute joke. The elementary school is great! But the high school not so much. The teachers are nice but the principal is an absolute disgrace.

We are so very happy to have found this school, after relocating from Europe we were searching for a warm caring environment that would meet our daughters academic needs. The school partners with UK to offer students dual credit college courses, allowing those who excel in certain areas the opportunity to challenge themselves. The staff are wonderful and take the time to understand and meet the individual needs of the students. Can't recommend it enough!

After having spent a year at MHS of Kentucky, and beginning my second year I can confirm that this school is everything and more than I hoped for. The teachers are intelligent and innovative people who are applied, caring and excellent at their profession. The community of the school is so great, not only because of the teachers but also because of the other students which help each other and form a strong group. The environment is creative, encouraging with lots of hands on experience and teaching that goes beyond school education, and prepares you for life.

Dude,so far so good. Man, the classes here are beast,but hey, your not here to play. I mean its a high school,of course its going to be hard. Anyways I know that this school is changing my life (other than public schools :-/). But, yeah, this school is top notch. I would recommend it to all my friends who aren't here :-D :-) oh, yeah, one more thing..it me john whos wrote this, not my mom.
