My three children, now three teen, went to this school, beside super education, I am also from another country, and had no family in US, having my kids in this school felt like having bigger extended family, teachers, parents and all, if you are looking for school that practice " it takes a village to raise a child " this is the place, my kids still until now, three teen ager, display kindness and good manners to others in many ways, I think alone would not have been able to teach them on my own with out the genuine efforts school staff have always demonstrated. My daughter is in her second year at the school and I cannot say enough to describe what a wonderful experience we have had with MSUH. She attends the school half-days, five days a week. Maria Wood and her staff have guided my daughter to become a focused, self-confident learner who cooperates well with other children. The strength of the school is in the individual attention they give each child while allowing the child to experience the delight of learning on their own, at their pace. The children are shown activities appropriate to their development level and encouraged to complete them on his or her own. When two children disagree, they are prompted to talk to each other and work out the problem while a teacher watches. They also offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a curriculum designed to guide children in developing a personal, spiritual relationship with Jesus. My daughter has taken to these lessons in a remarkable way.

Maria is very approachable and very willing to discuss how your child is doing in the preschool. She and her staff communicate very well with the parents. The parents are friendly and supportive of each other, and arrange their own get-togethers outside of school. It was a true blessing for us to find this preschool for our daughter. Maria begins interviews for new students every March.
