Montgomery High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school located in the Skillman area of Montgomery Township, in Somerset County, New Jersey, United States, serving students in ninth through twelfth grades as the lone secondary school of the Montgomery Township School District. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Secondary Schools since 1976.As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,714 students and 122.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 14.0:1. There were 45 students (2.6% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 21 (1.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.The district's District Factor Group ranking of "J" indicate that the school serves students of relatively high socioeconomic status.Awards, recognition and rankingsFor the 1992-93 school year, Montgomery High School was awarded the National Blue Ribbon School Award of Excellence by the United States Department of Education, the highest award an American school can receive.
