Went to a viewing of a friend who passed at Montgomery - Stryker Funeral Home tonight. There was kids there who, kids being kids, broke a lamp in the Chapel. Then the owner came in during the viewing and announced that someone was getting a bill for the lamps, how he had to order both and they cost five hundred dollars.

I could not believe how unprofessional he was by acting this way in front of the viewing party.

OK be mad. But so a little respect (you are dealing with the loss of a loved one for heaven sake) and pull the family aside and have a private conversation with them. Or call them the next day. DO NOT talk about something as meaningless as a freaking lamp.

This was one of the most unprofessional encounters I have seen. He should be shamed by his actions tonight.

I don't trust any funeral home that doesn't have a service price list online. Too bad this is the only funeral home in Laramie, so they can charge as much as they please and you're stuck with them because where else are you going to go?

Dave and the other folks at Montgomery Stryker have been incredibly helpful through a very difficult time for our family.  I cannot recommend them more highly.  They made a complicated situation simple, and were extremely professional.  Their preparation of our relative exceeded all of out expectations.  Many thanks to Dave and the professionals at Montgomery Stryker.
