I stayed here for a month in May 2016 after having a total knee replacement.  Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful and very on top of things.  The physical and occupational therapy staff was fantastic!  Yes, the facility is a little bit dated/worn, but it was always kept clean and there was someone coming into my room every day to sweep, mop, empty the trash, etc.  Everyone always had a friendly hello and a smile.  If (when) I have to get my other knee replaced, this is where I want to go back to.

I was in the short term unit for a month.  The nursing and rehabilitation staff were generally great which made up for the 1980's decor and equipment.  Like most medical facilities they are a couple of decades behind when it comes to technology.  Some tablets, servers, and televisions made this century would go a long way in providing some much needed relief to the dedicated staff.  

As for the patient amenities, the televisions in the patient rooms, keeping with the 1980's theme, are classic 19" tube televisions.  However they do have Wifi with good coverage and speed.  (Netflix was my primary entertainment.) The food needs improvement, it lands somewhere between prison and elementary school cuisine. The rooms do have mini fridges and the staff is happy to help out by microwaving your food or picking up a sandwich or snack from the kitchen.  

Overall the facility was clean, if a bit outdated, and relatively comfortable.  However the real gem for this facility is the coverage, concern, and care from the dedicated staff.

3/17/17 After two more trips to this facility I'm more and more impressed with the staff and the level of care.  A new kitchen manager was recently hired and it is reflected in the quality of the food, it's actually quite tasty (for the most part) now!  They've even replaced the old 19" tube televisions with flatscreens.  All in all they seem to be working hard to improve the facility so it can match the level of the staff.  If you need a nursing facility in upper Montgomery County I highly recommend Montgomery Village Health Care Center.

Horrific...loved one was largely neglected, majority of staff was rude, bothered when asked for help, uncaring and unresponsive to needs.  Stay far away from this place.

This place is the worst! Do not send loved ones or accept to be sent to this facility. The staff never know what they are doing or are too lazy to do anything. Everyone gives you the run around. They always make excuses, managers/supervisors take no accountability. Directors will start taking more care once a complaint is brought to their attention. You do not want to worry whether your loved one is being properly taken care of; do yourself a favor and do not use this facility. 

The rooms are dirty and dusty; housekeeping only comes in to take out the trash. We had to force the staff to get housekeeping to vacuum the room. The doctors, nurse practitioner, etc. are not direct employees there, so they do not seem to care. There is a laundry list of complaints. There is not one thing that went right at this facility. Absolutely the worst nursing facility.

I'm sorry, there is actually one thing that was not bad. They had all the necessary equipment, but their staff members do not know how to use them.

I think this the worst place that I have ever been, the staffs are always saying that they don't know. They are so lazy to do things.
