Pleasant people who try hard to make residents happy. It's not an easy job since people come here mostly to complain.

Living in Montgomery Village is like living in a Kafka novel set in your hyper-controlling mom's house. The rules are vague yet inflexible, the Foundation staff have the empathy of a wasp's nest, and the photo speed traps are plentiful, and invariably at the bottom of a hill. The 35 mph speed limit is ridiculous, especially in a place without timed lights, so you eat up time, fuel, and brake pads trying to get in or out. Plan ahead for long long stop lights.

Also, there are no sidewalks in the neighborhoods and the address system makes no sense. I hate it here.

Basically the only reason to come here is for Tortacos Cali Tacos on Lost Knife, which can be reached without going through any speed traps if you come at it from the south.

Montgomery Village is kind of the worst. HOA is as expected for a legacy community. Rules and bylaws are outdated, my neighborhood is currently filled with a trillion old people, some or most of them are original owners from the 70s. Can't wait for them to redevelop everything across from Lake Whetstone and bring some real business in here.

The Montgomery Village Foundation is the homeowners' association for Montgomery Village.  The staff do an excellent job, and many of the residents are involved in voluntary activities coordinated through the MVF.
