I get my oil changes done here and trust them to do a good job and not overcharge. The people are friendly and the work is quick.

Service department gets 4 stars Sales department gets -3 stars (would be -4 if I could give 0 stars overall) I've been a customer of this dealership since it went into Kent after the one that was down the street closed, about 2009. Even when I lived out of state, I would still get my oil changed at this dealership whenever I could. I've purchased 2 more Mazdas from this dealership since moving back to the area. I did NOT buy my most recent Mazda from this dealership, nor will I be returning based on my recent shopping experience. I was there in August. My sales person was pretty new. My sales person bad mouthed management while I was test driving. My sales person "valued" my trade in by driving me and my friend around on one of the most terrifying rides of my life. From that point on, my keys were held hostage. I also knew WAY more about the trim levels of a new CX-5 than my sales person. Now granted, I was just researching 1 vehicle type and that person had to learn about a lot of different vehicles, but come on, the CX-5 is a big seller. I went into this dealership with tier 1 credit, knowing my situation with negative equity and knowing what my trade in was being listed at around the area. I had already shopped at 2 other dealerships, but wanted to buy here b/c of the history. I routinely got my car serviced at this dealership at the recommended mileage. I had a cash down payment in hand with the ability to put more down if needed. I also brought my spare key and original floor mats. When it came time to talk about trade in value, price of the new vehicle, and finance terms, I felt like no one could listen. When buying a car, all 3 of those numbers matter and I wanted to know them all and see how different finance terms would work. I kept getting payment numbers when that was the only number I didn't care about, as I knew it would increase significantly given my situation. I wanted to know how it got there and had to repeatedly ask with each new paper that came out. The trade in offer I got was not where I wanted it to be, and lower than a dealership I've never worked with before offered. Kent only matched that number when they found out I had the loyalty program and wouldn't budge anymore b/c it would take "so much money to certify my vehicle", a vehicle that they routinely maintained... Since I had a perfectly fine 2016 3 and did not need to purchase unless everything was just where I wanted it to be, I asked for my keys back. I did not get my keys back as they were still being held hostage. Then I was shown auction prices for my vehicle. Not sure what an auction in Texas has to do with trade in value in Ohio? The manager was basically arguing with my friend, my friend kept a calm tone while the manager got louder, not yelling, but not the tone a sales manager should take with a customer EVER. I went to the counter and had to ask for my keys a second time, and the finance manager finally gave them to me. I was ready to leave them behind as I had the spare in my pocket. Now lets talk turnover in staff at this place, both in sales and the service department. I've never gotten the same sales person twice, they sure don't seem to last long. Erin and Andre were the only 2 service department managers to last long enough to trust. And the only person that was recognizable from when I last purchased from this dealership in 4/2016 was Jeremy in the finance department- the guy that let me have my keys back. Jeremy does do a good job, just a fyi. I purchased my last vehicle 3 weeks ago from a small dealership about an hour away from home. The sales person was knowledgeable, understood my situation, and the dealership actually worked with me to get me into a brand new CX-5 Grand Select.
