Glad to hear about Doordash Kitchens opening up in Downtown Brooklyn. It's centrally located and easily accessible by Metro lines. It has a clean seating area so you can just drop in. Other ghost kitchens concepts I've gone to in the past were true ghost kitchens so I like this flexibility. Plus the food is really good.

On this trip, I was drawn to Moonbowl's not one but two vegan options, the Avocado Bulgogi and Sesame Surprise. Feeling adventurous, I went for the Bulgogi. I'm not a huge fan of Impossible "beef" tastes too close to the real thing and I've cooled on kale, but this bowl got me to boomerang back. So much flavor. It helps that the "beef" has been broken down into smaller pieces and the kale has been marinated in citrus. The stars though are the pickled Fresno chiles and charred peppers that added pops of acidity, tartness, spice, and sweetness to each bite.

I spoke to the Assistant Manager and he dropped that they're looking to expand the selections and bring in a vegan and an Indian restaurant. I am all for it.
Do not sleep on moonbowls! Wow this place is good. They serve a 100% gluten-free menu with plenty of vegan options as well. I was fortunate enough to try a spread of some of their best hits. The Avacado Bulgogi bowl is incredible and so is the Korean Hot Chicken Bowl. We also tried the Gochujang Caesar salad, a Korean spin on a classic that was top notch. For apps, we went with the cauliflower wings and the potstickers. Everything was super fresh and the portions were perfect. I will definitely be back. Oh yes, and they have a rewards program that I’ll probably do some serious damage with.
I got the caesar salad and the Korean hot chicken. The salad was extremely sour to the point I couldn’t eat it. Just some kale, cucumber and onion with a tone of lemon. The chicken was very dry, and the vegetables tasted weird. I ended up just eating the dry chicken with the sesame rice, which was good to be honest. I asked for extra ranch dressing and paid for it, but never received it. Definitely not ordering again.
Very tasty bowls. I thought it was gonna be like a Chipotle or Sweetgreen build-a-bowl setup, but this is part of the DoorDash ghost kitchens, so you will have to wait a bit for the food. Just order in advance and you'll be good though. They do have a nice seating setup, so you can eat there if you want to, but it's primarily configured for takeout/delivery. I'm interested to try the other places in the setup and maybe mix and match if possible.
I love this place! They have so many healthy and gluten free options, and everything is delicious. The cauliflower wings are to die for.
Food is decent bang for buck but I've never had a delivery or pickup ready anywhere near on time since they've opened 20+ minutes late each time.
Got the urge for Moonbowls and tried to order on Caviar—no luck. I gave their app a shot, and success! And so fast less fees too! What can I say? The spicy chicken is my FAVORITE dish though the gochujang cauliflower is a close second. I love that everything is gluten-free also. Moonbowls is definitely going into the takeout rotation.
There is nothing like moonbowls, they are beyond delicious, healthy, low in calories and leave you feeling so full. They're prices are great, and they even have vegan options, hello vegan chicken!! Cauliflower chicken!! so good Dietary restrictions: Moon-bowls has gluten free and vegan options and their ingredients are natural and clean
absolutely delicious, so fresh, leaves you feeling amazing after eating! very filling. very good prices! we order once a week at least
This was awful. The chicken was so dry and chewy it stopped being Identifiable as chicken. The entire bowl was just bad. Don’t eat here, go to sweetgreen instead.
