I've been to several dentists over many years and Dr. Moorkamp is the first one to say, "Let's figure out what's CAUSING your teeth problems" instead of just "fixing" the immediate billable symptom.  He definitely takes a whole mouth approach and thoughtfully navigates a patient through a suggested course of action for whole mouth care.....that should last them a lifetime!  After years of dealing with fractured and chipped teeth due to my bite, I finally feel I'm on a path to a set of  teeth that will make me feel confident in smiling again.   
 
While Dr. Moorkamp puts a big emphasis on continuing education for himself and his dental team....he also puts big emphasis on educating his patients.  Being in a dental chair is a terrifying experience, but Dr. Moorkamp puts me at ease by explaining calmly and patiently, what's going on in my mouth.  And I've never felt rushed.   

His whole team, including front office staff, are great to work with.  Very competent.......friendly and warm.  I always know I'm in good hands....I  highly recommend Moorkamp Dental.

I know everyone reading this review will think they paid us, it's fake or we are a friend or family - absolutely not the case.  My husband had a bonding failure on his front tooth one evening.  We did a quick study of the local dentists and decided to contact Dr. Moorkamp's office first thing.  They were able to work us in that very next morning between patients as a special appointment.  Every single staff member that we dealt with was professional and personable every step of the way.  The doctor had a great bedside manner and was highly professional in every way.  They had a modernized office with updated equipment and instruments (I was an Orthodontic Assistant for 10+ years).  The final result was probably one of the best my husband has had with this tooth over the past 30 years of dealing with it.  Thank you again Dr. Moorkamp and staff!

Dr. Moorkamp and his staff are great. He is very good at educating his patients in a very straightforward down to earth kind of way and is extremely thorough! I honestly feel like he is the best dentist I have had in a long time and seems to genuinely care about his patients and their oral health. I highly recommend him, we are very lucky to have him in such a small town in rural Missouri.

I have been seeing Dr. Moorkamp since I was little and I have never had a bad experience! He makes you excited to go to the dentist and is extremely talented at what he does. The entire staff is always so friendly and welcoming. So if you're looking for a dentist in the area, I would highly recommend Dr. Moorkamp!

I would recommend Dr. Moorkamp to anyone! My wife started going here and now our entire family, including kids, have switched over. The staff are alway kind, professional, and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Moorkamp takes a holistic approach to dental health. He assessed my current dental health and we worked together to create a plan with areas of improvement. I couldn't be more impressed with my entire experience. If you are in search of a dentist look no further than Dr. Moorkamp.
