Great time with the open field, playground, picnic area, a dock for fishing, and trails. Scenic all times of the year and with plenty of space for different activities. I personally loved leading on the trails with family. The trials had reasonable inclines though they were close to the water so hikers need be cautious for slipping and rolling down hills to the lake. Overall a beautiful and scenic park with great options for all ages and interests

Went fishing with a friend down at the lake one early morning. We had a blast. The park was very nice and very clean. The lake was beautiful, especially watching the sunrise, it was ridiculous, and surreal. Kayakers and stand up pale boarders were plenty on the lake from early morning until departure. We caught a couple of little guys, nothing more. 10/10 would do again.

Great park, we have been holding our company's annual field day here 6 years running. Today, the gate was not open by 8 when we had reserved the park, but they got there around 815. Park is clean with good facilities.

My favorite park to take the kids! Seems like its getting more and more crowded though. Great views of the lake. Really relaxing atmosphere.  The bees are sometimes a problem here. They should probably be sprayed for more often. One little girl got stung while we were there last yeast.

Nice park close to the city and worlds away. If you wanna hike, fish or just picnic you can do it here. .... Plus a playground for kids and horseshoes for big kids.
